This is done! I made one additional change to use the shade plugin to produce lib/jruby.jar directly (plus rename ASM to our internal package) and things are looking pretty good. I tested with `mvn -f pom-ng.xml clean package ; rake test:mri19` and it all looked good. Can we make pom-ng.xml be pom.xml right now, kristian? My understanding is that via sonatype we have a snapshot repo. Projects not ready for release will push snapshots, JRuby's pom will point at snapshot versions, and that's how it goes. We never commit binaries to jruby repo anymore. I'm not sure how snapshots work with sonatype, though, so we need to figure that out. At least jnr-posix is on a master build right now, so that would be a good first candidate.
