Hi, Joe,

I agree with you that KAFKA-1180 and KAFKA-1210 are not blockers and can be
moved to 0.8.2.

I'd like to check in KAFKA-1271. It's a simple fix and improves the logging.

Sriram has a delta patch in KAFKA-930 that was waiting for the delete topic
patch to be checked in.

I think once the above fixes are checked in, we can cut the release
candidate for 0.8.1.
