+1 waiting for FileInstall bug fix for Karaf 2.2.8. +1 waiting for FileInstall and jline bug fix for karaf 2.3.0.
As to the list of issues for 2.2.8, lets bump the remaining issues to 2.2.9. Regarding Karaf 3.0.0.RC1 and 3.0.x branch; when trunk is branched to 3.0.x, trunk will become 3.1.0-snapshot? Looking forward to getting karaf 3 on the road towards its full RC status. Should we add to the release notes something along the lines of "3.0.0.RC1 is considered a beta trail release of Karaf 3.0.x"?, just to ensure everyone is aware that this release is not for production use?
