Hi, Some side doubts after reading the issue comments. Which are exactly project component names? Where are they reflected? Are they the name in org.apache.kie.<name>? Which is the plan for package name migration? Does the word should (Mark did not use must) give us certain freedom to keep the current packaging name and not completely break backward compatibility? If we are going to do the package name change, then I would also consider moving part of kie api that are in drools to runtimes, since they are not really shared between drools and runtimes and only used in runtimes. If you are wondering how this is related with the package renaming, well, since we are going to break, its the chance to do this kind of movement and achieve a clearer API landscape.
