I remember hearing this too from few sources. Then we checked and 10
names were on the list.
But say we all were PPMC then we would have a huge amount of people not
active on the project, but able to veto and vote. Better to have a
shorter list.

We were invited in, but at the moment I do not think the community
understood the meaning of the list. So right non-PPMC could be kicked.

Because normally we say: If the PPMC entrusts you to be on that list,
you generally should also be officially invited to join the PPMC.
The PPMC can decide to invite people, but also can remove subscribers to
that list, ist someone „snuck in“.

I believe this is since private should only be for PPMC, but somehow
many of us have sneaked in.
I am both on that list and can not see the archives. I asked a PPMC if
they can see the archives and they can.
