I started working on this. Following what AWS did for their SDK looks like
there is a new parameter about path normalization. I am looking into creating a
test for this that fails without that parameter being set. If we can do that we
can upgrade with more confidence.
I know HBase was a place that was sensitive to this. Looking into a test in
gateway-test that exercises the %2f forward slash in the url.
