So I added another commit to clear out the authentication stuff:
- the homepage UI uses `knoxsso` and deploys the new API under `/homepage/`
the same way `manager` deploys the admin API under `/manager`. This way there
is no need to login twice and `knoxsso` is configurable easily.
- the new API is deployed through a new topology called `metadata`. This
topology is configured to use LDAP authentication (to be consistent with Admin
API). I'm going to modify the PR description accordingly.
