Hey Sally (and Kudu dev), I seem to remember in the past that the ASF often publishes a blog and press release when incubator podlings graduate. The resolution for the graduation of Kudu to a TLP is on the docket for this month's board meeting (iirc it's 7/20). Hopefully I'm not jinxing it by starting this discussion before it's 'official', but....
How should we go about this? Looking back on the thread from the Apache Parquet graduation, I see that the community solicited some testimonials from various early users, and combined it with some basic info on the project and what it means to graduate. Should we follow the same pattern? If so, I'm happy to start working on a draft and gathering testimonials. Also, is there a recommended timeline relative to the board meeting? eg when do we need a draft, when would we expect to release it, etc? Thanks -Todd -- Todd Lipcon Software Engineer, Cloudera
