Hi, For now, the master branch is used for Hadoop 2 env and master-hadoop3.1 branch is used for Hadoop 3 env.
As for me, I have set up two HDP environment to develop Kylin 2.6.0. One is HDP 2.4 and the other one is HDP 3.0. If you want to develop Kylin on Hadoop 2, just use current master branch and prepare a HDP2.4 env. If you want to contribute to Kylin on Hadoop 3, use master-hadoop3.1 branch and prepare a HDP 3 env.
