Thanks. I was able to clear the project. Looks like there is an issue when Kylin communicates with Hive. I created a test table in Hive (default database) and created a new project in Kylin. Thru Kylin tried to sync this one table and it gives an error: Oops...NoSuchObjectException(message:Default.test table not found)
And while creating a cube build from Kylin the job fails at first step and no tables are created in Hive. I am using the same user id for Hadoop, Hive and HBase. And cube metadata tables are available in HBase. Hive by itself is working fine. So, am I missing any settings which will make Kylin read and write Hive tables? -- View this message in context: http://apache-kylin-incubating.74782.x6.nabble.com/Sample-cube-build-fails-at-Step-1-tp1978p2040.html Sent from the Apache Kylin (Incubating) mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
