Hi Kyuubi community, It has been a while since branch-1.8 was cut, recently, I’m focus on the batch feature(specificly, batch impl v2) stability testing via internal workloads, a good news is I think it is stable enough(even with a few known issues) to deliver it as a public preview feature in 1.8.0.
And I think it’s time to prepare the first RC of 1.8.0, I volunteer to be the release manager, and would like to perpare the first RC once all blocking issues are resolved. For committers and developers, please let me know if you think something we must include in 1.8.0. Thanks, Cheng Pan
