3. We have done only 1 set of translation for Bengali - "bn". No bn-BD

problem?
Not at all, as long as there are no differences in the language for
different regions. Otherwise there may be different flavours like there
are, for example, "pt" Portuguese in general and "pt-BR" Portuguese for
Brazil.
4. Bengali (bn) language is included in the build environment. No bn-BD
or bn-IN. Will this be a problem?
See above, no problem as long as there is only one "bn" needed.
1. Define the default fonts for the language (locale) and Font fallback
officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/VCL.xcu
Should I include 2 nodes for Bengali (Bangladesh) and Bengali (India)?
No, only one please.
2a. Include Bengali locale in the installation set
instsetoo_native/inc_openoffice/windows/msi_languages/Langpack.ulf
Should I include 2 entries? for Bengali (Bangladesh) and Bengali (India)
- because they have different LCIDs.
Probably yes, I'm not familiar with the installer though, somebody else
should answer this.
2b. setup_native/source/win32/msi-encodinglist.txt
Following line is included, but LCID 1093 is for bn-IN.
bn 0 1093 # Bengali
So we need to add another line for 2117, which will be for bn-BD.
Bengali Bangladesh and Bengali India - Instead of Bengali.
Seems so, yes.
2c. scp2/source/ooo/file_ooo.scp
There is no entry for Bengali. Should we include (bn) only? or both
(bn-BD) and (bn-IN)
erm.. pardon? what language entries are you referring there?
I mean, should I add following 2 lines in "File
gid_File_Registry_Spool_Oo_Common_Ctl_Xcu node"?
+ Name (bn-BD) = "/registry/spool/org/openoffice/Office/Common-ctl.xcu";
+ Name (bn-IN) = "/registry/spool/org/openoffice/Office/Common-ctl.xcu";
or only this single line?
+ Name (bn) = "/registry/spool/org/openoffice/Office/Common-ctl.xcu";
Btw: Please don't reuse already existing threads for new topics by
replying to an older mail, create a new thread instead. Otherwise, in
threading mail user agents, your mail is buried in the existing thread
and might be overlooked by people not being interested in that thread.
Sorry, I understand. Thanks for reminding. :)
