Yeah, I figured that.  As far as I got, current implementation would
give something like (i.e. all "lj" entries sorted at the end of L
entry): 

 L
   law
   learn
   lust
   ljig
   ljubav
   ljut

 M
   ....

provided sh_YU.xml is corrected, right?  So, I think I realise where
the problem is.

Not volunteering to that extension just yet, though ;)
