Dear Translators/Localizers,
October 26th is the translation deadline to providing translated GSI /
SDF files.
Please make sure to provide gsi / sdf translated files that cover at
least 80 % of the UI.
Here are some guidelines:
- add the en-US strings to your gsi / sdf file (make sure that source
and target strings are from the same milestone as your translation)
- run the gsi check on the translated files before delivering ->
http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/gsicheck/
- file an issue specifying in square brackets the language you are
providing example "[RU] GUI Translation for 2.1" (for Russian) or "[VI]
Help translation for 2.1" (for Vietnamese), etc.
- provide URL/link pointing to your file (only attach the translated
files if you don't have any web space available)
- assign the issue to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
- set target milestone "2.1", component "l10n", subcomponent "code",
issue type "ENHANCEMENT"
If you wish to contribute to one of the languages Sun/Globalization will
be working on, just let me know by Monday, October 9th at latest. Here
again the list: French, Italian, German, Swedish, Spanish, Brazilian
Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Korean,
Japanese, Hungarian, Polish, Iberian Portuguese.
Kind Regards,
Rafaella
