Sorry, I didn't see the original post on this topic, but I do have
questions about the topic itself.
On the rare occasions when I do anything outside plaintext mode, I
have been using NeoOffice instead of OOo, because of difficulties
inputting my language under X11. I don't know if these difficulties
are global or specific to any type of software: I couldn't even input
in Kbabel, and efforts to sort out why just took up too much of my
time with too little result.
This will be our first official release, and we hope to start testing
builds soon. I will be testing on OSX Intel 10.4.8. So between doing
this for the first time, and the language issues (our language is a
test case for Unicode support), it could get interesting.
Is there any information on building for OSX, general OOo issues
running under OSX etc.?
Also, can I test our strings in NeoOffice?
