Hello again :)I'm reviewing our initial translation, and I'm unsure about the upper- case function names which comprise the file <sc/source/core/src.po>, and which occur in one or two other files as well (sc/source/ui/ src.po, /scaddins/source/datefunc.po).
Some could be usefully translated, some probably couldn't. I've treated them as literals, so far. Should they be translated?
Examples: sc/source/core/src.poIF, NOW, COSH, CHOOSE, SIN, TODAY, DEGREES, CURRENT, SQRT, FACT, MONTH, ISTEXT, TYPE
sc/source/ui/src.po,WEEKS, MONTHS, YEARS, ISLEAPYEAR, DAYSINMONTH, DAYSINYEAR, WEEKSINYEAR, ROT13
/scaddins/source/datefunc.po 1. SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, PRODUCT, COUNTA, STDEV, STDEVP, VAR, VARP(These are repeated in lower-case, for translation, I think, so leaving them as literals in upper-case makes sense.)
2. #NAME?, #ADDIN?, #MACRO?, #VALUE!, #N/A, (These look like placeholders to me, definitely to be left alone.) 3. PAGE, PAGES, DATE, TIME, FILE, SHEET, RATE MULTIPLE.OPERATIONSThe OpenOffice strings are entirely bare of context, which makes it very difficult to translate them accurately. :(
Thankyou for any guidance you can offer with these. :)from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do)
