Yes, and the release has been delayed a week! I'm sure there are good reasons, but it messes up promotion.

I was just wondering whether there were any test builds already available, or failing that, whether there was an expected release date for 2.1.

The releases mailing list (releases@openoffice.org) announces uploads of builds. OOo 2.1 RC1 was uploaded a few days ago. You can always get the latest English builds from:

and localized builds from:

Those are the root addresses. The latest build is labelled either 2.1 (e.g. 2.1.0rc1) or OOE680_5. from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do)
