Hi Laurent,
currently we have only this small set of landing-pages cause not every
localized build uses the product-update-service of
http://update.services.openoffice.org/...
Currently we are working on the Russian page Rail gave me, so you see we
are extending this step by step. All other topics for the extension-site
are not an issue here.
And yes, the text is stable and to keep it simple, we need no 'real
translation process' here, cause the pages are fine since version 2.0.4!
We have only a small section for the new extension link on the page(s).
Kind regards,
Frank

Hi Frank
it would be nice if we could make the new extension-site
(http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/) more popular by having
this new text section (37 words) on the landing-page to show the users
these option for their OpenOffice.org productivity suite!
Sure ... but ...

Ok for collecting the translations
Why only restricting to the list of language you gave ? OOo supports 80+
languages. Why only calling only 10 for translation ?
Are we sure that the text is stabilized ?
What about joining the regular translation process for the static part
of the site ? How could it be done ?
But, the most important is to work on the site infrastrcuture to allow
translation of extensions descritptions and static part. This remain the
main problem as the site is in english only
Please refer to the call for help i sent some days ago
