Thanks for the reminder, Clayton. I haven't had time to get my head around these excellent features in the wiki. I do, however, suggest we use lower-case for the language-code, as many translators will be accustomed to lower-case (e.g. vi.po, documentation/po/vi/ introduction.po) and thus will accidentally use lower-case even if upper-case is what you plan to use.
As to the link checking in Help, I agree with Frank that if it's OK with Gregor, gsicheck only needs to check that links have the correct format, not that they are identical between original string and translation. With that arrangement, we can substitute and add localized links without being reported by gsicheck.
