Maybe something like context://jcr-repo would be more descriptive. We will likely see other "jcr" directories that might contain jcr usecases, a jcr publication, etc.

yes. It's also very important, that several repos can be used at the same time. IIRC this was discussed on the Cocoon mailing list quite some time ago, whereas somebody suggested to use a subprotocol for this, e.g. jcr:lenya:/.... if being used within the sitemap. We have to think what this means for the "Lenya source" ...
