hi *!
i was wondering how to handle the usecases name space. the prefixes
introduced in lenya 1.4 are a really nice step forward, but it seems
it's not clearly defined what modules should do...
currently, there are both <modulename>.<action> and
<action>.<modulename>. for instance, consider "edit.bxe" and
"lucene.search".
from the pov of the default publication, it is of course nice to have a
all editors grouped as edit.bxe, edit.kupu etc, but from an
architectural pov i think in the long run it makes more sense to prefer
the form <modulename>.<action> and deprecate the other variant.
that way, module authors only need to make sure that their module name
is unique and can be sure they have a clean sub-namespace for their
usecases without danger of clashes.
what do you think?
regards,
jörn
