You mean, that the changes in the structure are instantly «live» in 1.2?

Would this mean, that a user with the appropriate rights (e.g. a admin or
reviewer) could rearrange the sitetree (even for live documents maybe) and click
on a link «update site structure» that only affects the sitetree.xml? The
advantage of this could be, that one does not have to deactivate a tree before
moving it («hot rearranging»). If «cut» is chosen, there needs to be a check
that a «paste» occurs after.

I think the consequences of actions on the site structure have to be very clear
to the average user (or let's say at least a site admin with intermediate
knowledge).

Please be aware that I am new to this and I'm only thinking loud here...
