hi everyone!

i think it's time we removed the frightening warning from the 2.0 website ("Apache Lenya 2.0 is still under heavy development and should not be used for production yet.")

I do not want to touch this till after the release.

very wise from a psychological POV..
now i want a release :-D

i suggest changing the warning to a note such as

Slightly changed:
"Apache Lenya 2.0 is steadily approaching release candidate status. One can use it for small-scale and private website deployments with reasonable start-up time. If you are considering Lenya 2.0 for production, please consult the user mailing list first, describing your needs in some detail. We will try to asses whether 2.0 is up to your needs at this point."

this is just an off-the-cuff draft to get started, please suggest improvements.

A release.

then let's have a go at the remaining issues, and drag this thing kicking and screaming into rc freeze. can i suggest that someone reviews marcus' properties enhancement before the freeze goes down? (see http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42558)

regards,

jörn
