The big problem is that we handle the sitetree as a single object. This way, we
can only save the sitetree as a whole. Therefore we need to lock it to avoid
overriding other people's changes, even if the changes don't affect the same
subtree.

IMO the only reasonable solution is allowing to commit single nodes. This would
mean that the sitetree is not handled as a Transactionable, but single nodes.
