IMO tagging is equal to release, since you do a svn cp of the trunk of a
certain revision. Meaning RC1 is heavily outdated right now.

IMO we should not release non of the RC (as bin) to the open public to
shorten the release cycle. Otherwise I am afraid that we will take way
too much time to have a release. 

As soon as we devs are happy and agree on a RC I propose to have a
release as 2.0-beta. Announce it and ask for feedback. 

SHORTLY after that we should release 2.0 and start preparing 2.0.1. 

Personally I hope we can have a 2.0 release before 14.12 because I will
go in vacation around that date.

I will tag a rc2 as soon we settle the cocoon stuff (seems to be very
soon as well).
