Long story short: We are thinking about switching to Lenya. Therefore my question(s): Does anyone of you have experience with both Lenya and InfoGlue? Do you see any reasons why Lenya is possibly the better System to use?
I've never used InfoGlue, but I'll try to answer your questions.
Some of the requirements are
- custom forms / processing user input with own Classes
No problem - Cocoon offers multiple options to implement this. The most common approach are Cocoon Forms. To enhance Lenya's authoring environment with new functionality or provide the users with functionality which affect the Lenya repository, you can also use the usecase framwork.
- frontend user login / access control to certain pages or areas
This works out of the box.
- management of frontend users in backend
If you have more than a couple (say, 100) of frontend users, I'd suggest not to use Lenya's user management but to integrate Lenya in an SSO infrastructure. The SVN repository contains a Shibboleth integration branch which was donated by the University of Zurich. It is based on Lenya 1.2. It shouldn't be too difficult to port it to 2.0, one of the developers or companies supporting Lenya will certainly offer this as a service.

the workflow)
That's no problem at all, Lenya 2.0 was designed to be enhanced with custom modules.
I hope this helps, -- Andreas -- Andreas Hartmann, CTO BeCompany GmbH http://www.becompany.ch Tel.: +41 (0) 43 818 57 01 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
