About the meta data encoding bug (https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45462): I talked to Antonio Gallardo yesterday; he also suggested to set both container and form encoding to UTF-8. It would be great if we could test this setup with different servlet containers, and patch web.xml accordingly if the results are positive. There's also a discussion on [EMAIL PROTECTED] about this issue ("request encoding conundrum"), please feel free to join.
