Hi Lenya devs,
I'll be on vacation for two weeks.
It would be great if someone could take care of the release in the
meantime. Any volunteers? :)
About the meta data encoding bug
(https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45462):
I talked to Antonio Gallardo yesterday; he also suggested to set both
container and form encoding to UTF-8. It would be great if we could
test this setup with different servlet containers, and patch web.xml
accordingly if the results are positive. There's also a discussion on
[EMAIL PROTECTED] about this issue ("request encoding conundrum"), please
feel free to join.

Looking over the documentation for release management, it does appear
that it is something I could do. I'll need to get caught up on what is
happening over the weekend.
I'm not entirely sure what the procedure for a release is however. Vote
for 7 days, freeze 7 days after that? Then vote for 7 days to release
the frozen version?
Or do we freeze with a 7 day announcement and then have a 7 day vote for
release from the freeze?
