One thing that is against this is the fact that hunspell has routines
for stemming which are of critical importance for thesauri in inflected
languages. So hunspell should replace myspell in the future. However, it
may require some time before we get MyThes to work with Unicode and to
use stemming routines offered by hunspell.

Obviously, Hunspell has to become the default engine as it replies to a need
is Hunspell actually ready to be integrated ?
Do you mean 'testing compatibility with hunspell' or 'testing overall
quality'? If the second thing, I can assure you that Polish spelling
dictionary in OOo is excellent and requires no further testing.

are we sure that all dictionaries will be ok
- target the hunspell official replacement of myspel to 2.0.1
That could be reasonable.
it depends if it ois ready and sure it won't add work in the release
candidate process
