It is already on our list of problems for the next version.
But please note that this is currently only a list of things
that need or can be improved. It is not yet on a list of things
we actually will do for the next version.
Actually AFAIK there is no such list yet. Since our latest task was
OOo 2.0.2 we have not yet spend too much time thinking about OOo 3.0.
do you think it could be integrated before 3.0 ? as a method of
XTextRange ? what about an uno package ?
do you need help on specifications ? do you have some ?
