However in your case I see a way bigger problem! For a language/dictionary to work with spell checking etc. we need a proper ISO locale for the language (e.g. en_CA). But when I tried to find one for secwepemc (Shuswap) I didn't get any result. Of course it would be possible to misapply another existing, and so far unused, locale to get spell checking done. And I have no problem with such a dictionary existing in the extension repository (see http://extensions.services.openoffice.org) since it will still be useful to many people. Actually spell checking for Latin was done like that for a long time... But I have my problems with integrating a dictionary that misapplies a language into the vanilla product. Tl->ER: Do you know if there is a working locale for Secwepemc? Any further comments?
