if you check the check box on the .cfm properties "Check File Exists"
in the IIS mappings (for .cfm to the jrun.dll file) you can handle
missing templates within IIS for each virtual site. By default cfmx
attempts to handle the missing templates (ie with the missing template
handler) but when you've got loads of sites on the same server it's
easier to use IIS for handling missing templates - i've found at
least. I seem to remember someone posting suggestions why this is a
bad thing but it's always worked for me.
