Once you've broken your text-based dates into their parts, you can use:
CreateDateTime(year, month, day, hour, minute, second)
This returns:
{ts '2005-09-07 00:00:00'}

I don't care how its done as long as I get the ODBC date time thing in the
database in the form ...

So can I use ....
StartDateTime = CreateDate(StartDate & " " & StartTime & ":00");
EndDateTime = CreateDate(EndDate & " " & EndTime & ":00");
