>- see footer for list info -< Well I have narrowed it down to the width attribute. If I remove the width form my div, the flash displays. But the rest of my content is fubar because of stupid CSS quirks.
My div is thus. <div style="padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; width:100%"> If you do not specify the width, then by default the width of the div will be 100% + the padding, thus pushing content off the side of the screen. But, you can get indirect control of the layout manager by creating your own skin (a combo of XSL/CSS). So you'd need to build the formatting into your skin, putting it directly onto the page will throw the layout manager into a fit. Not worth it for 1 or 2 forms, but if you have an app with bundles of forms it's the dogs bo**ocks. Create a custom skin for your app and you'll never have to format another form again. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Snake Sent: 30 September 2005 12:37 To: 'Coldfusion Development' Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] Flash forms >- see footer for list info -< Even better, XML forms just totally stops the processing of the page and leaves an incomplete HTML page. Great this. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Smyth Sent: 30 September 2005 12:20 To: 'Coldfusion Development' Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] Flash forms >- see footer for list info -< It'll be a conflict with the layout manager no doubt. As far as I know when you use flash forms, you need to leave the layout of the form up to the layout manager. Its part of the whole "separate functionality from layout" concept they are going for nowadays. Could always go for the XML form option, less pretty but you get complete control over layout if you need it. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Snake Sent: 30 September 2005 12:12 To: 'Coldfusion Development' Subject: RE: [CF-Dev] Flash forms >- see footer for list info -< FFS. I have two div's that surround my page and apply formatting and styles. For some reason these stop flash forms from working. If I remove them all works fine. How useless is that.
