But, you can get indirect control of the layout manager by creating your own skin (a combo of XSL/CSS). So you'd need to build the formatting into your skin, putting it directly onto the page will throw the layout manager into a fit. Not worth it for 1 or 2 forms, but if you have an app with bundles of forms it's the dogs bo**ocks. As far as I know when you use flash forms, you need to leave the layout of the form up to the layout manager. Its part of the whole "separate functionality from layout" concept they are going for nowadays.
