Thanks for that, it does exactly what I need it to.

One more question, the array returns the XmlAttributes of the Child is
there a quick and simple way to grab the contents of the XmlText
Attribute.

You can indeed:

<cfset node = xmlsearch(xmldoc, "//nodename")>

That will return an array of all nodes matching "nodename" anywhere in
the document.  XMLSearch() uses XPath to search through your XML doc:
just Google to find more info.
