>- see footer for list info -< the "form" structure will always be there in CF pages, but "form.fieldnames" won't be if there is no submitted form. I test for its presence with structKeyExists() all the time to test for submission.
You could also stick in a hidden field that may contain the form's name or purpose. That could come in handy later or during processing.
