>- see footer for list info -< I finally managed to get it to work. Yes, it already had the JRun seetings in the httpd.conf, Niklas - I had them copied over from the existing NT server. However, one item - Ignoresuffixmap - which is 'true' on the NT machine, has now been changed to 'false' on the 2003 machine (see below).
I also made a small change to the wsconfig.properties file, to remove the initial (from NT) statement on line 1 to end "","","" instead of the NTs "Apache","","". The relevant info came from: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_19575 (Manually configure the web server) So now he has a working CF MX 6.1 Updater working on WS 2003, and quite speedy it is, too.
