I'm with Adrian - if you don't copy the CSS along with the formatted text then it looks nothing like the original when you paste it, especially if CSS is used for alignment. Tables paste really well into Outlook, Word, and the "export to Excel" feautre in IE is ocassionally very useful for capturing table data. I used Firefox too and haven't found any table copy probs so far.
