>- see footer for list info -< This is something I'm looking into at the moment. If I'm correct then the original poster was looking for something which allows him to pass in a url and then it would generate a thumbnail of the website in a similar way to the thumbnails on Alexa.
Also if I understood correctly he was referring to the JPane in Java Swing - I don't have a solution yet but there are a few apis I'm looking into.
