I did take a look at powwownow but it appears to only support sharing of PDF files - everything needs to be converted to that format. It mentions desktop sharing in passing but it's not documented and I couldn't see how to do that in their online demo. Okay, I just phoned them up. The screen refresh is every 10 seconds so this makes web/product demos impossible. However, they're launching a new faster product next month and will give me a call to demo it online, so I look forward to that.
But I still prefer Breeze! Maybe I need to call Adobe UK and rattle their chains. Thanks, Gary. On 2/8/07, Charlie Arehart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

I just noticed the small print for Acrobat Connect - "At this time Acrobat Connect is available in North America only". :-( Andy, if you're reading this, who set up the Breeze meeting at a Scottish CFUG session last year please? Nick, unfortunately my clients can't use remote desktop as corporate firewalls only permit port 80. :-( Breeze really is a slick product that I thought lots of people would be using. I mean, video, voice, and screen sharing via the Internet should be common place in 2007, right? Google fails to show any companies that offer this service in the UK. Maybe I've found an untapped market? There's no price listed for the server software - I guess that means it's horribly expensive and is probably why no one buys it.
