>- see footer for list info -< Rather a late reply but we have to deal with this and the best way to explain why it is done is to think through the worst case scenario. For example your customers data is listed from the dev system, that papaer report is left in a bin or on a table and is stolen and your customers details are used in some malicious way.
We have a sanitize script that runs on our live data to create a test/dev copy. Hope that helps and is not too late!
