Heh, well there's one pretty much called that - google for "dev null smtp java" and you should find it. I've never used it for big runs, but if you turn its logging off I guess it'd be fine. > Is FusionReactor safe to run on prd Yeah, we run it all the time on a few public websites and it doesn't get in the way. Like Server Monitor, it also has some debug/profiling stuff which should be off for regular use, but otherwise it's fine. > I like pretty graphs but even with something like FR I reckon you > need a certain amount of knowledge of it and java to understand what's going > on and how to remedy things? Well for tracking memory usage a pretty graph is good enough? There's other stuff there that doesn't need Java knowledge, and it's not really that hard to figure out java stack traces, so don't let them intimidate you. ;) Anyhow, there's a free trial and if you have specific questions, posting on the Fusion Reactor list should get a helpful reply. > <cfautooptimisejava> tag would be a welcome addition. Heh, not quite the same thing, but at Scotch earlier this year, Gert mentioned that they're looking to add auto-tuning in a future Railo release. >From http://www.getrailo.org/index.cfm/documentation/railo-roadmap/ "Autotuning (or proposals for tuning, like when the server is often running low on memory propose to increase the memory...) If Autotuning is turned on, then Railo checks for certain things: Select *; More than X records in a query; very much time lost in certain loops; lock collisions; other things." Could be cool. _______________________________________________ For details on ALL mailing lists and for joining or leaving lists, go to http://list.cfdeveloper.co.uk/mailman/listinfo -- CFDeveloper Sponsors:- >- cfdeveloper Hosting provided by www.cfmxhosting.co.uk -< >- Lists hosted by www.Gradwell.com -< >- CFdeveloper is run by Russ Michaels, feel free to volunteer your help -<
