I am setting up a new mail server and html formatted e-mails that are sent from Cold Fusion and are forwarded by the server to another pop3 account do not appear as html e-mails. You can see the tags. This is the reason that I got back from technical support. Is there a way to send e-mails like this from Cold Fusion. In help it says that the only setting for type in the cfmail tag is HTML which is what I use already. I have Cold Fusion 5.

The message should have a header: MIME-Version: 1.0 to indicate that it is a MIME message. Do you have a way to add this? If it had this then the other MIME fields would be added. Also, I believe the reason the header is modified in the first place is because the message is being forwarded. If you didn't have WorkgroupMail forward the message then I think the problem would be avoided because WorkgroupMail wouldn't need to re-write the header. Kind regards, Simon Bates pp. Mark Appleton Workgroupmail.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For human help, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
