Reasons not to use it is really if you don't have to. If you have a programming background and code reuse and methodology is normal practice to you, then you should really coding web apps in that way anyway. If not, then you could surely make your own framework and methodology or take some of fuseboxes ideas and use them how you like. FB does have some cool ideas and features, I use some of them myself, but as a whole I wouldn't use it. I would have still suggested FB2 to people who otherwise were producing dodgy code, but not FB3.
