There are plenty of issues on the various lists Lucus. People have had the installer just lock up, refuse to install, not install everything, throw errors etc. I had to uninstall CF5 and IIS, resinstall IIS before I could get it to work.

As for the installer, I have never had issues with it (on w2k, linux or solaris) and I have done a few installs and no one has actualy managed to log a bug (ie find a reproducable error) with the installer.
