Can't help you there until I see Carl again. I'm not the expert on MySQL.. in fact I've rarely used it. But I keep getting told about various bits and pieces. Carl (at evbi) seems to read absolutely everything about any software he works with, including magazine articles and reports from the third party organisations who have tested on it...
