Lucas,

Thats been my view as 2.0 didn't work well on pre updater MX, but noticed
some threads recently on cfguru in fact if you have an archive its under
(CFGURU: MX load issues on Solaris) also (see below) where posts from some
MM guys are saying the opposite.

Is the offical MM line to stick with pre 2.0 if so are the issues being
discussed related to a specific JRE ?

Just need to double check as 2 clients are both in the process of building
their boxes and the buck will stop with me if I give the wrong advise.

Alex

These are your Apache processes. I'm afraid you'll need to upgrade to Apache
2.0.39 (or 2.0.40 if you run the CFMX Updater).

Yes, we've seen this with Apache 1.3.26 but we do not hit this problem with
Apache 2.0.39 (we haven't yet run the CFMX Updater on our dev/int systems).

I *believe* (but will happily be corrected by a more knowledgeable product
team person!) that CFMX + Updater *requires* Apache 2.0.40 and does not work
with any other version of Apache. I think that's quite clearly stated.

Similarly, I believe the pre-Updater CFMX works with 2.0.39 and is
*supposed* to work with 1.3.26. I think. However, the 1.3.x Apache exhibits
the symptoms you are seeing.
