In that case you could do this: <form action="" name="testform"> <input type="text" name="test"> <input type="Image" onclick="testform.reset(); return false" name="reset"> </form>
And put some CF code in the action page to check if the reset button was pressed. If the client allows javascript it will reset, if not it will submit and you can do the reset server side.
