Except we are getting the problem with dateformats and not currency. Our problem is that when the system is rebooted, dates passed to an object are sent as mm/dd/yyyy (no matter what you tell it to do) - this screws up the object. When CF is restarted on the server, it reverts to dd/mm/yyyy!!

I think the registry bodge is your best bet as they is a known bug within Windows where you can change the locale setting after install but the system never takes on this new parameter. Its a setting which needs to be made during windows install (not in the windows control panel). Its not something you can change in the registry or anywhere else as far as I know. The bug only seems to affect LSCurencyFormat() which is basically one of the simplest tags to recreate anyway. Its just the currency symbol and DecimalFormat() Just give up with LSCurrencyFormat().
